Rainbow Retreat Wilderness Eco Lodge and Cabins
at St Patricks Head.
Rainbow Retreat overlooks the Bay of Fires, we have the most Sensational Ocean panorama in all of Tasmania, the retreat sits within St Patricks Head Private Nature Reserve, you can see for 230km along the expansive eastern coastline of Tasmania.
Voted the best eco retreat and Private Nature Reserve in Tasmania.
Rainbow Retreat is only minutes from Frecynet National Park, Wine Glass Bay, Ben Lomond National Park, and the beautiful Douglas Apsley National Park, so why stay in the cold wet and windy south of Tasmania when you can stay on the sun coast, the warm region of Tasmania, local holiday destination for many Tasmanians.
The property has been proclaimed by the Tasmanian government, as a Private Nature Reserve, the highest conservation listing available.
We were able to achieve the privilege of such a listing as the property is home to the Tasmanian Devil, Spotted Tail Quoll, Eastern Barred Bandicoot, White Goshawk, Wedge Tail Eagle, Bennetts Wallaby, Tasmanian Pademelon, Tasmanian Bettong, Long-nosed Potoroo, Eastern Pygmy Possum, White-footed Dunnart, and the Unique Blind Velvet Worm and several other endangered native wildlife species.
" Gerry and Jill..We needed a haven from the storms of busy lives ..here we found not only spectacular views, native wildlife to view, and wine, food, and courtesy aplenty..but also the serenity and composure we sought, a million thanks, and we will be back. Noosa, Queensland"
This retreat is a spectacular destination and it is more than just a base for exploring the jewels of Tasmania.
